The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures is the premier institution dedicated to the history, art, and science of cinema—and home to The Oscars Experience, an immersive exhibition that gives visitors their own red-carpet Academy Award moment.

Scope & Role

Freelance designer. I designed the complete pitch deck from concept through delivery, collaborating with a copywriter and working within the Academy’s existing brand guidelines.

Outcomes

The Academy approved the deck and put it into active use for touring outreach. The project opened the door to a long-standing freelance relationship—the kind of repeat trust that only comes when the work delivers.

Working within the Academy’s brand guidelines and their in-house typeface, Cinetype, I designed a deck that balanced elegance with clarity. Dark backgrounds, gold accents, fine typography, and generous white space create a cinematic, luxurious tone. Imagery draws from the exhibition itself—Oscar statues, visitor moments, and collaged movie posters—grounding the prestige in something tangible and experiential.
